Nine moissanites packed into an 8 mm head: one 2.5 mm stone in the middle, eight 1.5 mm stones around it, and a frame of polished silver beads holding the whole cluster in.
Set together like this, 0.18 ct total reads much larger than the numbers suggest - the stones share their light instead of each working alone. The beaded frame is the part that dates it properly; it gives the head a vintage edge rather than the hard bezel line you get on modern halo rings.
